AMPAC String Orchestra

A string orchestra is an orchestra composed solely or primarily of instruments from the string family. These instruments are the violin, the viola, the violoncello, the double bass (sometimes considered an anomaly because of its resemblance to the viol family), the piano, the harp, and sometimes percussion.

String orchestras can be of chamber orchestra size ranging from between 12 (4.3.2.2.1 = 12) and 21 musicians (6.5.4.4.2 = 21) sometimes performing without a conductor, or consist of the entire string section of a large symphony orchestra which could have 60 musicians (16.14.12.10.8 = 60)

AMS String Orchestra composes from violin, viola, cello, double bass and same percussions. Most of the players in AMPAC String Orchestra are the students, amateur player and music teachers. The repertoires that we rehear are Classical, Broadway, Movie Theme and some Pop song. The concert or public performance will be organize time to time to gain performance experience.
