Violin Teacher: Ms Jessica Loo
Energetic, enthusiasm and dynamic. These three words can be truly describe Jessica Loo - The Violinist from Penang, Malaysia.
Jessica Loo was firstly taking drums since she was 13 years old in her secondary school band. After graduate, she still very active involving performances in symphonic band and orchestra in Penang and Kuala Lumpur. She was principal timpanist in PESSBAND since year 2001 - 2006 and in KLpac (Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre) orchestra from 2007 - 2010. She worked before with many well known international star like Russell Watson ..
Jessica Loo took violin as her second instrument in year 2002 when she met and influenced by the Malaysia well known violinist, Mr. Brian Tan Wee Thean and until he passed away in year 2011. Now she was learned with another well known violinist from National Symphony Orchestra (NSO), Mr. Yip Siew Keen. Although she was not pick up the violin when she was young but with her indomitable spirit, she had finish all her graded exam within 4 years. Then she achieve to higher level and certified the A.T.C.L. Violin Performance with a Distinction under London Trinity Guildhall examination in year 2011.
Jessica Loo started her career as a violin performer in year 2006. All these years, she was invited to perform as a violin soloist in many various events like in NSTP Annual Dinner, Inti College University Street Party, District Awards and Handover Night of Rotary Club , Lions Club of Bandar Baru Klang President Installation Dinner, IGEM Clients Appreciation Dinner, Fo Guang Shan Dong Chan Si New Year Concert, etc...Besides performances in Selangor, she also often invited to Penang to give performances like in Hui Yin She for Hall Launching, The Blast Concert in Fort Conwallis by Penang Goverment and others. To create wider range of music, she formed a few groups like Duet, String Quartet and 5 piece Band to perform different style of music which in classical, contemporary, pop and hip hop.
She also involved in a Music Video shooting with our local artist, MintG for her 1st book and music album that launched on 6th July 2010 and also recording for Dutch Lady Milk Advertisement for background music..
Jessica Loo set up her own music studio named Absolute Music Studio in Klang in year 2008 because she understand the important of nurturing the new generation. She formed a string ensemble in her studio and mainly is to train and create opportunities to her students to perform on stage and to show their talent. Since beginning till now, they performed in various events like in Klang Centro Mall, Aeon Jusco Bukit Tinggi, Klang Parade, etc...

Music Therapy: Cheryl Mow
(registered Music Therapist with the Australian Music Therapy Association)
Cheryl Mow is a qualified and registered music therapist with the Australian Music Therapy Association. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Arranging from the University of Westminster, UK and later pursued the Master of Music Therapy at
the University of Queensland where she was awarded Dean’s List.
Her clinical experience in music therapy includes dealing with adults in aged care, mental health setting, kids in hospitals and students in special schools. She was previously attached to a disability centre in Australia as a Music Therapist and an aged care facility as a Diversional Therapist.
Cheryl is also an accomplished musician who plays the piano, guitar and flute. Cheryl Mow is currently working hand-inhand with the Malaysian community to use music in empowering lives. She works with individuals or groups of children/ adults with learning difficulties/disabilities.
